Over nearly three decades, Tim Gray co-owned Smith Paving & Construction, completing thousands of residential and commercial projects with a strong focus on durability, safety, and customer satisfaction. Following a divorce that ended the business partnership, Tim founded Gray Paving and Excavating to continue serving customers with the same experience and commitment to quality he has maintained throughout his 28 year career.
Starting his career from the ground up, Tim learned every aspect of the trade - from site preparation and grading to asphalt installation, sealcoating, striping, and long-term maintenance. His previous company grew steadily under his leadership, earning repeat business from homeowners, property managers, commercial developers and municipalities alike. Known for his hands-on management style, Tim was actively involved in projects from start to finish to ensure every driveway, parking lot, and roadway met his high standards.
